Visit us during the summer and see for yourself how archaeologists investigate an ancient settlement.
Archaeological excavations at the Rabati settlement take place each year, mainly during June and July. Visitors are welcome to observe the work and learn more about the site. The village of Zveli is easily reached by car and is located about 30 minutes from Akhaltsikhe.
Beyond the archaeological excavations, visitors can enjoy the stunning natural scenery surrounding the village of Zveli.
In the nearby village of Chobareti, you can visit a 300-year-old traditional Meskhetian oda house and sample authentic local dishes (Learn more).
